Proposition 65

Disclaimer

NOTICE: If any items are sold or distributed in the State of California, a warning under a California Law, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (often referred to as "Proposition 65"), may be required.

Artwork Readiness

An electronic art file is considered "ready" when the artwork is used as delivered. Any modifications that need to be made to the artwork may result in extra charges or delays.

Mechanical Artwork

The traditional standard for acceptable mechanical artwork is "camera-ready" black-and-white material. Any modifications that need to be made to the artwork may result in extra charges or delays.

Art Files

Artwork supplied in PSD, AI, EPS, and TIFF (300+ dpi) formats are preferred. Any image printing in more than one color should have a "spot color" assigned to the desired image area. For one-color prints, assign the designated imprint color as a "spot-color" as well. Any typeset paths within the file must be converted to outlines. Line thinknesses cannot be below 0.5 pts. This will ensure optimum quality for your print.

File formats that cannot be accepted are: Word documents, JPEG images, GIF images, or bitmaps (BMPs). These formats do not have the flexibility we need to produce the best quality prints.

Please provide a printed proof with your art file. If in electronic form, please send a PDF attachment along with your art file to art@adglass.com

Always be sure to include your company name and your purchase order number. Our designs are PC-based and we can accept the following media types: 3.5" Floppy disks, ZIP disks, CD-Roms, and above mentioned formats sent by e-mail.

If you have any questions about artwork readiness, please call our factory at (303) 940-8000 or contact us.

Quality of Glassware and Ceramics

Our line contains a variety of quality printed glass and ceramic items. Because of the nature of glassware and ceramics, we cannot guarantee 100% consistency. Variations of material, firing temperatures, glaze, and pigment can cause small differences in final products, which must be considered acceptable.

Claims

Claims for goods shipped via UPS should be submitted to Archer Glass for review. We must be notified no more than 15 days after receipt of the UPS shipment. You must retain possession of the goods related to the claim, as UPS reserves the right of inspection. All goods shipped via common carriers are shipped at the buyer's risk, and all claims must be made with the carrier. We cannot ensure on-time delivery or safe-carriage of goods. Recourse rests solely with the transportation company. Unless otherwise requested, all glassware will be shipped at a release value not to exceed $0.90/lb. Any claims paid by the transportation company will be based on this value. Title to the goods passes to the buyer at the F.O.B. point. Deductions from your invoice for breakage or shortage are not authorized.

Idemnity

Any art file submitted by you or your client will be accepted as being submitted in full compliance with all laws regarding copyright, trademark, service mark, patent, right of privacy, or similar type of protection. You and your client agree that submitting such material for our use in producing an order, these laws will not be violated and Archer Glass disclaims all liability for compliance with these laws.

Ceramics - Use in the Food-Service Industry

Porcelain and stoneware products shown in this catalog are not recommended for continual use in a bar or restaurant environment. All capacities are liquid measurements. If you are filling one of these items with a dry measurement, it will not relate to the liquid capacities we have provided.

Country of Origin

Select pieces of our line are imported and may be identified with the country of origin. United States customs regulations require that all imported goods be clearly marked with the country of origin.

Size and Position

Your purchase order must clearly specify if artwork is one side, two sides, opposite the handle, or a wraparound. Your order must also clearly state if the art is to exact size, or if it needs to be enlarged or reduced. In absence of these instructions, we will use our own discretion. If the order is lacking specific instructions for the art size and location, no claims will be processed. Imprint locations are defined as follows:

  1. Front faces right-hand drinker (RHF)
  2. Back faces left-hand drinker (LHF)
  3. Two-sided has one image per side
  4. Opposite the side
  5. Wraparound has one continuous image which wraps around from the RHF to the LHF.
